Welcome ccojazz.

KatK--if there is anyway you can be with your Mom in hospice, it is truly a gift of God.  I will never regret taking off my last few weeks from work to be with my Mom.

Thank you all for praying. My Aunt died Sunday AM with her family around her. It is so hard preparing to say goodbye to another family member.  2011 is just continuing where 2010 left off for us.

Lord, I just pray you will be with the members of the 5th Fleet.  Keep them calm & safe in the palm of Your right hand.  Also, please protect our ships at sea as they deal with these Somali pirates.  We ask you to give them Your wisdom in dealing with the issues here.  And, precious Lord, please be with the Matthews' family as they mourn the loss of their son.  Please give them Your peace during these very difficult days.

Father God, please protect our sons and daughters and bring them home safely to us.  In Your Son's name I pray, Amen

LORD, I pray that my son and all his fellow recruits in his division  will be blessed by you, may your favor be upon them in the final days of Boot Camp.   Lead them, guide them and keep them safe! I ask that You, Father, help them to do their best!  To be able to work together as a team.   May they be pleasing to You in all that they do.  Pour out Your abundant Lovingkindness & Grace  upon them all!  We bless Your Holy Name!  We give you Thanksgiving  and Praise.   In Jesus Name we pray

Angela, we have added the 5th Fleet to our prayer list at church.  People know if it is military listing they can contact me for more prayer support.

Dearest God, we know we can come to you whether our prayers are spoken or quiet.  You listen to all our needs.  Please keep our military families wrapped in your supporting love.  Give us peace of mind as we, the world, deals with unrest and conflict.  Keep us true to your strength.  Amen
