From Navy Momma Shirley comes this word :

PLEASE PLEASE pray for my adopted Marine SSGT Tim Brown.  I sent him a Molly's Adopt a Sailor care pkg two months ago (he has not been in the sandbox long at all) and just kinda adopted him along the way.

On Thursday he stepped on a IED and lost both legs his arm just above the elbow and has multiple fx's.  Please just stop right now and say a small prayer for this guy.  He just made it to Germany and will be enroute to Bethesda next week.  I am in shock and disbelief.  But I do know their is power in numbers so if I could beg all of you to say prayer for Tim and his family it will only take a second.  Thanks♥

We do deserve all our blessings because God made us in His image. Isn't that great?!

Dear God

Please keep safe everyone out in today's ice and sleet.  We are now under a blizzard warning.  Protect all our shut ins.  Be with our emergency workers.  Keep us all safe and warm.

Amen

Love the praise posts!

1) Even though under-employed, I have a job with benefit

2) Would also marry my hubby again in a second, after almost 30 years and cancer

3)  Love dirty laundry because it means I have someone to love and do laundry for

4) Was raised by a God Mom

5)  My Dad sacrificed his plans for college to go into war and then to provide for us

6) Our children are safe

7) My nephew got out of Egypt 3 weeks ago before the protests and uprisings

8)  Have a great church with fantastic staff

9)  Also enjoy our two dogs who make us laugh--rescue dogs, too.

10) I'm losing weight and it feels good.

Love you all!

Definitely Blondie - although it's only barely above zer here  and the roads are really icy today....

1)  The seats in our 10 year old car are heated!! so we sent our daughter back to school with it this week so she won't freeze her tiny little body just getting into the car.

2)  My husband still loves me after 26 years, and I would still marry him again tomorrow.

3)  Even though my daughters car was vandalized last thursday, the damage was enough that now the insurace company will paint it for us and we can change the color to white.

4)  I'm working from home today!  and as an added bonus, the dog is sitting on my feet acting as my own personal heater.

5)  Dinner is getting itself ready in the good ole 26 year old crock pot.  I love that thing.

6)  Even though I have to go out in this brrrr weather later tonight, it's because I have a place I can go and use workout equipment and work off my you know what since LMAO doesn't really work for anybody.  It's not really warm in there, but at least it's better than 4 degrees and I can keep my jacket on.

7)  Electricity is on - all over Denver - and homeless shelters are opening extra doors so nobody should be out in this cold this week.  Plus, great response to Coats for Colorado this year, so warmth was spread around.  Grateful for giving souls.

8)  It's beautiful outside my window.

Asking that you lift a dear cousin, Army veteran from Vietnam and his family.  He is losing his battle with cancer and hurting.  Praising God that he is confident that he will be seeing God soon, but he will be sorely missed in this life.  His wife needs strength to see her through.
