Here is a quick update

Joshua is doing well, still banged up pretty good, but doing good. Doug was released on Tuesday and has facial fractures. Miguel's funeral will be Monday.

Thank you for all your prayers and kind words

Dear God
Please be with MeLinda's Joshua, as he processes in his heart and mind what has happened to his friends in this car accident. Please wrap your heavenly arms around Miquel's family.
Also, our pastor, Dennis, has been with his mother and was by her side as she was released from her earthly body today. Please send comfort.
And be with our son's friend, John, whose father died suddenly and unexpectedly this morning. Be with John's mother, Linda, as they attend to the funeral they never expected in these days.
I come to you as one who knows our hearts better than we do.
Amen

I just heard from Joshua and Miguel did not make it. Doug the other passenger is still in ICU and they have him in an induced coma as he is fighting and has several fractures. Joshua is on his way to the ship/base to be checked again and for a concussion.

I also found out this morning that another of their shipmates hung himself yesterday.

So definitely keep everyone in your prayers.

Ladies could your plese pray for traveling mercies for my son he comes home tonight for for his Christmas. We hear late tonight isn't suppose to be so good we will be in a winter storm watch. His Flight comes in at 11:30pm .

Lord you are in control of everything including the weather. Lord I ask that you would hold back the winter weather here in Nebraska so that my sailor can make it home safely. You calmed the storms at sea with the disciples pleas calm this winter weather. Go before my sailor, clear the path as he flies out tonight. I post angels before him and behindhim to keep him safe. I ask this in Your name Lord God Jesus.

I received a phone call from Joshua around 11 pm our time that he was in the hospital from a car wreck. He is banged up pretty good along with a bruised lung. He was in the back seat of the car, and had to be cut out of the car along with the front passenger. Both the driver and the front passenger are in ICU.

Joshua called again around 1 am asking for prayer the driver Miguel. The doctors have told him he will not make it through the night. Miguel’s parents are about 3 hours away. Joshua is the one that called his parents with the news. Please pray for Miguel and his family, the other passenger and his family, as well as Joshua. Their ship mates are making their way to the hospital to be with them.

I will update you as I hear more from Joshua.

Dear Lord
Please be with our pastor, Dennis, and his family, as he spends his hours with his mother. She is ready to be received into your Holy arms. Keep the family safe as they travel, and let our pastor know how much his congregation loves him.
Amen

Happy Dance for you and Andrew, Kristina!! I will pray for Andrews continued health. Lord I plead your blood over Andrew right now to protect him from any sickness that may try invade his body. I ask you Lord to keep him healthy and strong. Go before and be with him in every step he takes...and in his sleep as he rests. Be his portion so that he can graduate and go out and serve our country and you Lord. I ask this in Jesus might and powerful name!!

One of my favorite Rich Mullins songs for my Sailor, My Son

Let Mercy Lead

Rich Mullins and Beaker
Deuteronomy 4:9, Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Psalm 78:3-8
Aidan you're young
But Aidan you're growing fast
Me and your mom
And all the love we have
We can only take you so far
As far as we can
But you'll need something more to guide your heart
As you grow into a man

Let mercy lead
Let love be the strength in your legs
And in every footprint that you leave
There'll be a drop of grace
If we can reach
Beyond the wisdom of this age
Into the foolishness of God
That foolishness will save
Those who believe
Although their foolish hearts may break
They will find peace
And I'll meet you in that place
Where mercy leads

Aidan the day
Aidan the day will come
You'll run the race
That takes us way beyond
All our trials and all our failures
And all the good we dream of
But you can't see yet where it is you're heading
But one day you'll see the face of love

Let mercy lead
Let love be the strength in your legs
And in every footprint that you leave
There'll be a drop of grace
If we can reach
Beyond the wisdom of this age
Into the foolishness of God
That foolishness will save
Those who believe
Although their foolish hearts may break
They will find peace
Where mercy leads

Let mercy lead
Let love be the strength in your legs
And in every footprint that you leave
There'll be a drop of grace
If we can reach
Beyond the wisdom of this age
Into the foolishness of God
That foolishness will save
Those who believe
Although their foolish hearts may break
They will find peace
And I'll meet you in that place
Let mercy lead
Let mercy lead

Let mercy lead
Let love be the strength in your legs
And in every footprint that you leave
There'll be a drop of grace
If we can reach
Beyond the wisdom of this age
Into the foolishness of God
That foolishness will save
Let mercy lead

Let mercy lead
Let love be the strength in your legs
And in every footprint that you leave
There'll be a drop of grace
If we can reach
Beyond the wisdom of this age
Into the foolishness of God
That foolishness will save
Let mercy lead
