Cheryl G- Lord, please watch over Cheryl and her sailor recruit. Keep them both strong through the changes the next 8 weeks will bring and strengthen their relationship even more.

Frieda--Angela is in with prayers of friendship, sisterhood and all needs that she may have.

Dearest God
Please be with AlaskaAnn and her family. Bless the latest pregnancy so her sailor can have the thrill of being a new uncle. Bless the medical technicians in Germany and help this be a healthy pregnancy with blessed results.
Keep Samuel Alexander as their angel.
And watch over all our armed forces and their families.

The words to this hymn was written after two major traumas in Spafford's life. The first was the Great Chicago Fire of October 1871, which ruined him financially. Shortly after, while crossing the Atlantic, all four of Spafford's daughters died in a collision with another ship. Spafford's wife Anna survived and sent him the now famous telegram: "SAVED ALONE." Several weeks later, as Spafford's own ship passed near the spot where his daughters died, he was inspired to write these words.

Bliss originally named the tune "Ville de Havre" after the ship on which Spafford's four girls perished, the SS Ville de Havre. Ironically, Bliss himself died in a tragic train wreck shortly after writing this music.

Ladies my heart is heavy.... please pray for all the Navy ships that are being deployed as I write this, to undisclosed places... My Sailor just arrived at the first duty station and the ship was out to sea on a shake down.... my sailor was suppose to be on hold until it got back into port... called this morn. and said that my sailor is being flown out to the ship, they are heading out for military support and may not be able to call or e-mail for weeks or even months. Please pray for the Sailors and their families during this time of no contact...this so hard.... and they will be protect by God..... I knew this was suppose to happen but the ship wasn't suppose to leave until FEB. so this is rather sudden and unexpected. I wasn't prepard for this...Thanks be to God my sailor was just home and we got to see our Sailor for 10 days.

If you haven't already read the blog...Please pray for Andrea Chapman and family..her son was killed this past weekend in a motor cycle accident. He PIRed 4/18/08 he was 23. He was also just recently married so also pray the his young bride.
