Thank you for your prayers! And Blondie, the verse in Isaiah is part of the vision the Lord gave us many years ago for this ministry. Thanks for posting and the reminder! PTL!
Yvonne and John
Good morning Thank you Blondie for that word today-needed that encouragment today. God bless to all and our sailors
"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19
Streams in the Wasteland
Sometimes we go through a trial and wait for God to send water into our dry wasteland. While patience is important, we can often “prime the pump” through our praise, thanksgiving, and worship. As we reflect on our many blessings and celebrate what God has already done for us, our dry souls draw water from the well of his past mercies.
Often just remembering what God has done for you naturally leads to thanksgiving, praise, and worship. When you recognize the many gifts he’s bestowed on you, as well as the many obstacles he’s allowed you to overcome, your heart overflows with gratitude.
Suddenly, we can see the way God has transformed the arid soil of our hearts into a garden producing his fruits of the Spirit.
Pray: “Father, We praise you for the many ways you have blessed and continue to bless us. Remind us that the rain always comes no matter how dry it may feel today. "
John & Yvonne, in God's time all will happen as planned. Do not give up Hope. Sending Prayers your way and to All Our Military. God's hands upon them.
Amen!
Father hear our Prayers.
In prayer for your ministry to the Sailors
Ladies,
We would so much appreciate your prayers for our ministry to the sailors who come over to our home. We have shared the Gospel with them in so many different ways and some of them just have not responded, Please pray that the Holy Spirit will touch their hearts and their hearts will be softened towards Jesus and they will believe and they will commit their lives to him. Thank You!
Yvonne and John
f the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. Romans 8:11
Some days, we can’t imagine how we’re going to make it through all the demands we face in our schedule. Our families need us, our bosses and coworkers depend on us, and yet we have nothing left to give. We want to rely on God’s strength so we pray, and somehow our Father gets us through.
The next day comes and we have an opportunity to begin again. If we’ve been blessed with ample rest from a good night’s sleep, we can experience our job, school, and home through new eyes. Our problems don’t seem as big and overwhelming. Our spirits feel refreshed and fully reliant on God. Our minds are sharp and once again can focus with clarity.
Our heavenly Father has restored us from death to life. He will continue to bring us new life so that we can accomplish what has been set before us, no matter how daunting.
Lord, give me strength when I can’t keep going.
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
[Jesus said,] “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
We have such an Awesome God, He provides for our every need. He even gave his Son, He came to earth and experienced what we go through and then willingly died for us. He forgives over and over, there is not 1 small corner of your life that he cannot and will not fill. All we have to do is Ask.
Jesus, thank you for the way I can experience a full life and a full heart. Thank you for the abundant life you bring.
