Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Praying for Wyttigr on Boot Camp Moms group, her SR (daughter) is in the hospital. Lord, I pray that you shall intercede and touch this daughter...heal her body. The doctors are not sure of her diagnosis, but you know every part of her Lord and you are mindful of her every need. I ask in Jesus' name that she and her sweet momma would feel the comfort and peace of God as they wait for what comes next. I pray they will put their trust in Jesus and not fear, worry or doubt. Thank you Father, all praise, honor, and glory be to you for ever and ever, in Jesus's name, Amen.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Welcome Cookie93 to the Navy Prayer Wall.    We ask in Jesus name that Your angels be about Blondie as they travel to her daughter's home. We ask for Your peace and love to shower down upon Sailor and Joe and Blondie and family as Storm is born. We pray fin agreement with Blondie for a smooth delivery and all  be healthy. We pray that Joe would be appreciative and thankful for all that Blondie and husband do for them and that they will be able to spend time with their new grandchild. Thank you Lord for everything You will do , are doing right now and have done in blessing this family with a new member.  Amen

Father, complete the work you began in us when you gave us faith in Christ. And if we have doubts and struggle to believe, assure us of your grace and forgiveness. Work on us today, we pray, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.

Heading south later today, we're getting bad weather and want to get ahead of it.  Sailor said come.  We told Joey we'd stay at the house with the dogs, so they don't have to board them and when she gets released from hospital we will be out of the house and at our resort.  Still don't know when I'll get to see or hold the little one BUT I will be close and sailor knows it.  She told Joey if in the middle of labor or after delivery I want my Mom I'm gonna call her and you can't stop me!  We are all trying to compromise.  :)

Father give us all patience and love.  may sailor feel your Love and Peace.  let labor/delivery go smoothly and all be Healthy.  we ask this through Christ Your Son Amen

Thank you!  God bless you all for letting me vent and holding me up, don't know what I'd do with out this site.

Heavenly Father, keep a watch over these ladies and their families.  Thank you for such wonderful women in my life.  I too ask that daughter and Storm be safe and Joey to come around.  thank you Father for listening.  Praise and Glory to You.  Your will be done.  Through Christ Your Son Amen

OH Thank You Blessed!  You cannot know how much that means to me and how much I needed it this morning. 

I got a text from her yesterday, "Annoyed, plans changed again, call me!"  of course it was 3 hours later by the time I got off work and received her text. She was so worked up ...

Joe, her husband sent her a text from his place of work (navy) telling her he didn't want us to come.  It would be hard on the dogs.  Then he was out of touch for hours... and he didn't come home after work, he went to race his toy cars!

As you can imagine she was all worked up in fact I called a Navy friend and stayed on the phone with her until Jane arrived at her house.  Joe wants to take the baby to meet his work buddies....My daughter's "thing" was she didn't want to introduce her child to strangers.  and she said after we have our moment I want my Mom!  She has said this for months!  She text me late last night and said for everyone of His arquements she had an answer, But she said he was unreasonable and wouldn't give an inch.  I told her we could hold off but then would only be able to stay a week because of other obligations.....it's just SO upsetting. 

He comes from an abusive family, in fact he claims his mother will never met her grandchildren.  He fell in love with our family (3 years ago) and them with him and I am talking extended family, aunts, uncles, cousins.....Hubby says he's acting like his mother (a learnt pattern) make promises and yank the rug out, keep them unbalanced and isolated.  I Hope not!

So very little sleep last night and I'm trying not to be Mad at him....I booked a resort vacation in Virginia Beach this morning, so I will be close if she needs me.  We have 2 weeks vacation, what are we going to do stay home and worry?
