Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I am in need of the strength of Lord, and thankful for these scriptures that right now is helping me to carry on. My recruit called and I won't hear from her in two more weeks she has three weeks to go , she let me know she cried the other night thinking about home I let her know she has a host of God's people praying for her. God Bless You Outi and Jesusintheboat, Blondie, I also will be consistent in prayer.

Praise God, the Lord is so good, Thank you for your prayers, and words of love, May God Bless you and your families, may he send more loved ones, and mothers to the prayer wall for the healing, to begin in their lives to mend back their hearts of them missing their recruits, So they can not only receive information and understanding from the Navy for Moms website but also the inspiring information and encouragements from the prayer wall. I as a mother of a recruit has gained strength and faith and trust in God deeply by the encouragements and inspirations mentally and spiritually pertaining to my daughter going through the boot camp training process and me dealing with the process of her gone. May God continue to bless you Blondie and Jesusintheboat to be consistent in the calling that God has for you on this prayer wall to help others. Thank You with the love of Christ in me. Praise God
"Praise God" everyone, my daughter called yesterday morning and her family was totally blessed to hear from her phone call. She requested prayer because tensions and stress that she was experiencing, but I let her know to stay in the race the reward is great. I prayed for her and her fellow recruits on the phone, I also gave her Psalms 91, I am grateful for the inspiring messages I receive on the prayer wall that helps me to pray for my daughter, my family everyone else. God Bless everyone
