Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6:10

Father, I’m humbled when I consider all that you do through me. Today, help me to rely on you and stretch beyond my own capabilities.  You, Father provide all my needs and bless me with everything I have. Protect me from the lure of more money. Help me always put You, Family and Neighbor above all else.  Worldly goods mean nothing, It's Heaven I'm striving for. Thank you for Your Son and the Holy Spirit, open our hearts to hear and follow. Amen

Lord, I offer you my heart, hands, and resources. I want whatever I do to be a sacrificial gift of service, not an opportunity to boost my ego or show off my abilities.  But all Glory and Praise be yours!

I want to trust you fully, knowing that what I do is meaningful for your kingdom.   I want to be your light, your hands, your salt in the world. Joe's granddad passed away on my daughter's 30th birthday, Joe arrived safely home this morning, reports in tomorrow and leaves early Sunday morning. Not enuff time with Wife and Tahlia.  :(   Today is haircut, uniform inspection.....Uggg!  If Baby M wasn't so close we'd have been out there.  Baby M is making flutters and daughter is dilated 1.5 centimeters.  Was hoping for a baby yesterday but maybe this weekend??!!!

Sorry, I'm all over the place, lots going on in my family life.  Pregnant daughter having eye problems. Thank You God it was a scratched cornea and not something worse (that is bad enuff)  SIL's grandad was taking off life support, Joe drove 15 hours straight to get there in time. (having to go thro Navy red tape...) Gran Dad still holding on. Daughter stayed at home with Tahlia because of her Health problems.  Not sure when Joe will be back home but he leaves with the Navy next weekend for 3 weeks!  BIL had a artery blockage in his neck, had surgery and then had a heart surgery, He got to come home yesterday! Like I said it's Crazy here!

But singing God's Praises, Youngest Daughter (ex-sailor after 10 years) is alive to celebrate her 30th Birthday today.  God is GOOD

Lord, I hand over all my worries to you today. You are in control and will continue to protect me, provide for me, and guide me.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Psalm 150:6

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us” Hebrews 12:1  

Job says, “He sees everything I do and every step I take” (Job 31:4 ). And Jesus tells us, “Even every hair on your head has been counted” (Luke 12:7 ). God knows every detail of your life. He watches every breath you take. There are no secrets between you and him.

“I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”
Isaiah 44:22

For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.  Ephesians 2:18

Father, I’m so glad you’re there for me all the time.
