Blondie - my son is DEP so I don't have a sailor on a ship (yet).  I would be happy to send something though - could you message me with an address?

Judi, my prayers are with you and your daughter.  The best thing will be the birth of that baby.  Keep us updated.

Praying for those on the Ronald Reagan.  It looks like they are giving all their good food to the Japanese victims of all those disasters.  Praise God for their good hearts.

Thank you Father for keeping the sailors on board the Stennis safe.  We pray for the 10 who are injured that Your healing work will be done on their bodies through those assigned to care for them.

Lord, I pray for Joanne's mom.  Lord, You alone have set the number of her days.  She is apparently approaching death's door even now.  I pray that she knows You personally already, and if not that You will make Yourself known to her heart even as her mind and lungs fail.  Please be with Joanne.  She is suffering so watching her Mom die.  Help her to know that You understand what she is going thru, You watched as Your Son died.  Bless her at this time.  Thank you Father.  In Your Son's name, Amen.

Five years ago today, my oldest brother, Eric, sent out his last email.  It was a message of love and hope and God.  How would he know that just a couple of hours later he would be injured at work, and die three weeks later?

Dear Lord

I thank you for the example my brother set for me.  The aspirations he led.  The people whose lives he touched.  For saving my little toy dog so many years ago when a stray tried to steal it from a little girl's arms.  For standing up for me.  For being a testimony to you God.

Hug my brother for me tonight and give him my love.

Amen
