Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Matthew 14:29–30

I want to have the kind of faith Peter displayed, Lord. The kind that gets out of the boat and takes the next step, with my eyes fixed on you.  Take my hand Lord, lead me.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Psalm 139:13–14

Dear Lord, thank you for making me the way I am. Help me to accept myself—all of me—and to compare myself to no one except the person you made me to be. Amen

Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.  John 12:26

Jesus, I want to follow you and become the same kind of selfless servant that you are. When I serve like you, I know God our Father is pleased. Thank you for the Holy Spirit who helps and guides me.  Open my heart, mind and spirit to his guidance.  May I always follow you and some day live with you in Heaven. Amen

While we're making our new year resolutions, lets not forget our souls.  Our Prayer life and Spiritual life needs our attention and time also!  Bless be.

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said.” Then the angel left her.  Luke 1:38

God, help me to hear your voice. Give me the desire to say yes to you in all things.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” (John 1:1,14 KJV).

a “God-Man.” It had to be God, because God’s righteousness had to be satisfied, but it also had to be man, for it was man who had sinned. God’s righteousness was offended, since “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). But, it was also a man who had sinned, “As by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12).

Philippians 2:5-8: “Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

So Remember, “The Word was made flesh” (today’s Scripture) so we could have an opportunity to be “made the righteousness of God in Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Merry Christmas!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

Lord, my heart is full of joy as I celebrate your birth today and everyday. With friends and family, let me reflect your love and grace in all our festivities and in our ordinary, daily lives.  May we never forget you came to die for us. May we celebrate you Everyday.  Singing Your Praises, Amen

Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.

Psalm 86:11

Father, remind me that Christmas lives in my heart all year long.
