Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Blondie,

The verse you quoted in Jeremiah 29:11 was the verse that was given to us before the Lord gave us the vision for the ministry we now have here in Virginia Beach...long before it happened and we moved from Colorado to here over 18 years ago!  Since we moved here and opened our home to minister to the Sailors, Marines and Soldiers, we have had 565 military men and women come through our home. Part of the vision was the Lord telling us to "write down the revelation(vision) and make it plain on tablets so that a herald(whoever reads it) may run with it". So we have written a book all about our lives and ministry here so that others may read it and might have the same burden to reach out to military men and women, inviting them into their homes and making them part of their family,  in areas where there are military bases and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them . The book is finished and will most likely go up for publication in about two weeks! Praise the Lord!

Thank you Father,  You are an Amazing God.   Please watch over our Service men and women. Show them Your Ways. Thank you Jesus for coming down to earth and becoming man. For being our "Light, our way and our truth". May all our children Believe.  Holy Spirit come into our lives and those of our children, be our conscience, be our Guide.  Show us the path to take so we can follow the Plan.  We Praise you in the Trinity for ever and ever.

Sharing this from my morning devotion:

Lord, I want to love like Jesus. I want to love without being cautious. Help me give myself to others. Fill me with Your Spirit every moment of every day to love like that. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
