Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

What a great website and what a great comfort to know there are so many out there praying for my son too. I will be praying for all of yours too. I have a real comfort that the Lord wants D in the navy and doing this, but I sure have to hold strong to my faith for this.

I'm praying for the folks in Georgia who are affected by the flooding. Only God can control the weather and I ask Him to dry things up so no one else is hurt or loses their home.

My cousin is having surgery to see if cancer has retuned. She is only 30.

Father, today our guys had a rough day. Please give them the rest they need for tomorrow's challenges. Let healing take place so they can wake in the morning refreshed and ready for the day.

The prayer my son says before every training or when things begin to get rough. God I thank you for the strength you have given me, the wisdom to use it and I pray for your guidance should you change my path. He repeats it over and over, then he says he feels a calm feeling and focuses on the seeing himself complete what he is doing at that moment.
So for me, I pray for all the young men, their safety, their health and most of all the strength and wisdom to handle all that lies ahead. -

Today I'm praying for bj and her job situation. Whatever is right for her and her family God make it happen. Also, I pray for the boys to have a restful weekend, for injuries to heal, but spitits to be renewed so they can be ready for the next challenge.

God I ask that you give the boys the strength and courage they need to complete the tasks before them this week. Protect them from injury and sickness. Give their mom's and dad's what they need to continue the wonderful support they give.

Lord we lift up M to you and ask that you heal his ankle right now. We know that your healing comes to those who ask. Let him wake tomorrow with no ill effects from today, and also anyone else who is hurt tonight to feel your touch.

I think this is a great idea, Tee! I did not know you had posted this discussion. I am definitely on board. Please add my son to the prayer list as he has a really bad case of shin splints and is on LLD at the moment.
