For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

@ the hospital now about to be induced! Matt will be home tonigt at 730 and his bday is tomorrow, which is just the cherry on top :) pray for us!

We just found out today that we are having another boy! I am 18 weeks along. My hubby is in GL for A school and will be there until the baby comes :)

Hello everyone! this group sure did put a smile on my face! We are expecting our first baby girl sometime at the end of next week, and Matt can come home for his baby leave! super excitedd!! :)

Hello everyone! I just joined this site and can't wait to meet everyone. My husband is currently at OCS and graduates May 28 I am due June 7 with our first baby. It will be nice to talk to other pregnant navy wives!!

So, did anyone attempt to get on the waiting list for base housing? My husband will be in GL for 33 weeks. I have heard different things from people about how they didn't get approved because schooling was too short there, etc. Any thoughts?

I'll be getting an apartment contract signed as soon as we get his first BAH (since he just left I guess it will be a few weeks). I'm looking at Northgate Apartments, and actually I did look at Reserve at Eagle Ridge, but I think it was a little more expensive. It all depends on what the deals are when I have the money to sign. Congrats on your new baby iloveBrenden! and thanks for the help :)

Hey ladies! I had my 16 week ultrasound last week and we found out that one of our twins is a boy! We are going to name him Camden Daily Snyder :) We can't wait to find out what the other is...hopefully a girl so we can have one of each! Have any of you had to move while in the latter stages of pregnancy and how did you deal with the move, finding a doctor, etc.? I'll be moving in the end of April to GL to be closer to my hubby so he can see the babies and I'll be just at the beginning of my 3rd trimester-eek! My doctor said I should expect these babies to be born AT LEAST a month early...so I'm kind of freaking out about finding a doctor on time for the delivery. Any suggestions on good GL doctors that take tricare? (or any other suggestions?) ;) thanks
