Hi Ladies! My QM son is graduating 03/07/16. Has anyone heard if they can go home that day OR are they be on hold? I'd like to book his flight home but not sure when.Thank you !
My son will graduate 12/11. He too will be QM "A" school at GL.
ProudCajunMamma,
My son just graduated & is QM "A" school @ Great Lakes. They start class in Jan 2016. So our boys will be there @ the same time!
My son leaves for bootcamp in Novemeber then QM school. I am new... Is there anyone out there whose child may be there around that time?
Nancy R: During A school they have free time in the evening and on the weekends unless they have to be on watch duty.My son just finished his A school in May. :)
My son graduates boot camp July 2nd. Then he goes to QM school right there at Great Lakes. He is getting married after A school and would like his girlfriend to live near by. Do they get much time off during A school?
My son received his verbal orders today. He graduates QM A School this Friday April 11th. he was told that he should receive his hard copy orders sometime between now and next Wednesday April 16th. I am so happy he is going to be stationed in San Diego only 3 hours away from us.
Does anyone currently have a sailor in QM A School? I was wondering if anyone knows when they are suppose to get their orders to their first command? My son will be graduating A school on April 11th and has not heard anything as of yet.
