OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Another Newbie With Questions
Hello all! Just wanted to introduce myself a bit and hopefully get some answers. I am a Navy wife and have been married for just under two years. My husband is set to graduate basic this coming Friday 1/10 and is an RP with orders to Ft. Jackson, SC for the first part of his A school. We have no children and I just finished my first college degree while he's been gone. This is our first and longest separation since we met.
My questions have probably been asked several times before so forgive me. I was wanting to know if Sailors stationed at Ft. Jackson for A school are allowed to either A) receive visits or B) live off base if they are married or C) live on base with their spouses if temporary housing is available.
I do understand that the Navy does not move me unless its for a certain duration or longer and I understand housing is probably the least likely since he will be there for only 6 weeks and then he's off to another base but I've only seen my husband once since October and any information would be great seeing as I don't know when I will see him again after his PIR.
P.S. Same questions apply to Camp Lejeune if you know the answers for that as well as any tips or advice in relation to being a Navy wife that you can give.

Hi. My daughter is currently at camp legune waiting for the rest of her class to get there. As far as I know from my older daughter, you cannot live with him during a school. Once he phases up, he will get liberty. At phase three they are allowed to wear civilian clothes, leave base, and also spend the night away from base. So once he reaches phase three you should be able to go visit him.

Hi my husband is an rp as well. Were stationed at ft belvior va. They are allowex visits during liberty hours but they have to live with all the other rps in apartment things unfortunately. If you have any questions feel free to add me or message me! And deapite what his orders say unless he chooses to go green with the marines he probably will not be going to Lejune. Active duty mostly stay blue unless they prefer green side. :) it takes about 3 weeks to hit phase 3 if all tests are passed.
