ok IVAN........ you stay away from RI on or around the 13th---- We got some Moms that are going to have lunch!! By the way Lois,,,,,, put us (I'm bringing my new hubbie, as he loves Jeff and is so proud of him) down as "YES"........I can't seem to get rid of that "perhaps". Someday I will master this foolish machine!!! Isn't it awful,,, my 5 yr old grandson could tell me how to correct it I am sure. Hoping more of our area Moms will read these posts and join us!!
My husband is also coming
HI, just wondering how the get together went.
Hi Lisa, it was great to meet everyone! Jean is correct seemed like we were "long time" friends after just a few minutes! I can't wait until the next get together! Hope you will be there.
Hi Lisa, Hubbie and I were 1 st ones there (we live right down the street-LOL) and all of a sudden "THE NAVY ARRIVED". I didn't have to question if they were the expected Navy Moms... the t-shirts introduced themself~ Our waiter was great - we told him we were just meeting for the first time and he just told us to take our time--- which we really did. It was great to hear about all our sailors and where they are,,,even seeing some pictures also. There were lots of giggles and laughing about passports so we could travel in our little state/ and some good ribbing to the person who certainly loved her pancake breakfast. It seemed like we had known each other after only a half hour. The time flew by much too quickly/ I think I had a hard decision---leaving for grandsons 2nd birthday,,or staying with the Navy families!! (I'd rather leave than have the rath of my daughter..LOL ). We even had 3 dads, and 3 sisters, which was great! I posted some pictures/ but again,,,,,,,I'm not computer smart,,,so lord only knows where they ended up. I know I have 2 on my page,,,but I tried to get them onto the RI page. Hope you can make the next get together..... We didn't really set a date/ but sometime in Oct or Nov. I hope.
Hugs to all.................
The picture is great!!!
