Welcome Eric's mom,   My daughter is just going to be starting her last semester at UW Madison.

I can't believe it is almost done and she will be moving away....

The first two years were very tough but now she loves it and has met life long friends.

Send me an email if you have any questions!!

Good Luck!!

Hi Eric's Mom....

My son will be starting his freshman year at Iowa State University in the NROTC College Program.  He will be studying mechanical engineering.  He is very excited about starting college and NROTC.  He has been waiting for this chance since he was 10 years old!  I am so excited for him!  Any other freshman moms out there?

Hi Eric's Mom,

Welcome aboard. My son is starting his 5th year as a MIDSHIPMAN at University of San Diego. He is studying mechanical engineering. It's hard work, dedication and lots of studying. He has enjoyed all of it.: CORTMID the first summer, 3 weeks in a Submarine in the Atlantic Ocean the second year, and Aviation survival training last year. He almost switched to aviation after flying in a F-18. He will finish the NROTC program this December and be commissioned. After that he'll report to Nuclear power school in March. He has been able to study abroad to Australia. He has made many life long friends, pushed himself to the limits, got a degree and truly grown into a wonderful, respectful, honest young man. We couldn't be prouder. The first year being away is the hardest. After the first 6 weeks  they are second guess their choice. Be strong and reassuring. It has been the best decision for him.

Best of luck to your son and family. It goes by fast. If you have questions or anything don't hesitate to ask. This is a great support network.
