OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thank you for updating! I can't believe my son is a senior this year.

my "adopted" son was at LSU for a year and a half and just transferred to Southern University (also in Baton Rouge, LA) in order to get the room and board paid for. My son thats a senior in high school is trying to decide betweenArmy ROTC at Auburn or AFROTC at University of South Florida. His NROTC app was MC option at Auburn and he is waiting on the 2nd and final board's decision in February. Long story but the USMC app has met lots of problems along the way. Hopefully USNA comes through for him!

Hi.  I am a new Mom here and have a daughter (freshman) in the Villanova NROTC Unit.
