My son is an International Studies Major also.  He's a freshman, so that would be an interesting turn of events.  I'll have to ask him if he has heard anything about that.  He sure hasn't said anything.

So funny, the many comments about the "kids" coming home and rooms are just like the "old days, messy", I was just looking into my daughter's room, she's home for the holidays and her room already has clothes everywhere! lol

Well, like the rest of you, just glad she's home, time is flying by she is already a junior and will be returning to school in January as the company XO!

Merry Christmas and have a blessed New Year!

Alaskan Mom, I had to laugh when I read your comments about the old habits and eating alot....that is so very true! my 4C has been home for a week and although he has changed alot, he still has the clothes all over the room, leaving stuff around the house kind of thing.....I know he isn't like this at school or in his dorm....oh well, as you said, love and cherish them because soon enough, they will be gone again....I have missed him soo much. Everytime he is home, my heart mends a little, when he leaves, it breaks again. I know I'm supposed to be upbeat and not let it show, but it's hard at times.....Merry Christmas to all my fellow Navy MOMs out there....we all feel the same mixed emotions about our kids......proud, happy for them, but a little sad when they leave. Have a fabulous holiday season with your Navy kids :)
