Does anyone know how they pay out the book stipend? Do they deposit it in their bank accounts or do they get it when they pay out the school. I know my son's tuition still hasn't been paid. They said CMU received the money but then CMU has to pay out the other two schools in the unit.

Thanks ladies, it was a great time. I don't think they (UofA NROTC) opened up the ball to any outside guests besides the dates. Although, that would have been fun. The young Mids seem to have a very awkard time trying to converse and introduce dates (think adult verison of first middle school dance). It seemed like the Mids/OCs with out dates went from table to table post ceremony chatting with everyone (I must have been the odd date trying to find everyone I knew to chat with atleast once). Overall, it was a great experience. I got to chat with General Fox and his aid Vic they both said this ball had the most personality of any ball they had been to this fall. I think we got 80 percent of those in attendance to do the "Cha-Cha slide" which is a dance I'm sure those photos are hilarious. One thing, I really liked is they had prepaid taxi coupons so that any Mids or OC's needing a ride could get home safely.

This week the DB is in charge of uniform inspections and the morning PT. They were told he would be by the books and next week the head of NROTC at UofA will be doing so I guess this might be the dry run. Thanksgiving break is less than a month away!

Wow, you guys look great! At my son's unit they weren't allowed to bring dates. My son is happy he only has to get up 1 morning for his physical training instead of 3, excellents on his PRT. Hope everyone else did well and had fun at the Navy Balls.

The ball was a fun, the after party was so much! OC's and dates went to the Casino. We had a blast! Although note to self for next year, eat a granola bar before hand ceremonies may last a long time and you may get very hungry.

NROTC ball this weekend! Brayd was on the planning committee, so I guess we'll see how they did. Hopefully we'll get the some cute photos. They aren't wearing the hat/cover :( I love the hat/cover. Tis a shame that they are ruining my first Halloween in Tucson! Boo!

We sang the Navy Hymm as our Patriotic song today at work! It was so cool! The Private religious school I work at had a retired Navy Chaplin come speak at chapel time. It was so cool!
