Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son finished his AZ studies,thank to God;they'll be graduating next tuesday.
No orders for now.

i know allison said soemthing about a behavoir probebleme. That she experinenced one. And i told her evryone has been cooped up for 8weeks and they ar probably trying to show off. told her to stay true to her goals and morales and she will be fine.

wow my daughter didn't say anything about having to watch a Capt's Mast. last friday

i work at theVA verterans hospital ahd work with alot of retired milaty. the navy folks are so supportive and love seeing aliison's graduatin pictures and are alsways asking about her. I AM A PROUD NAMVY MOM

hismomdeeship: I was told that there is on a website they can find it on. "my pay" which is part of dfas.mil/ website.

hismomdee, the sailors should receive an LES (Leave and Earnings Statement), which outlines their pay, any deductions, their leave days, rank, etc. They should have received before leaving GL.

I rec'd a call this evening. They are doing fine - enjoying being away from GL and BC!! Much more laid back.
