FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Juliemom, I think they were mistaken. I was originally told San Diego, at least they had the "Miss" part right in yours. Lol

Hello Ladies - Does anyone know if there is a Logistics A School as well in Missouri?  We were initially told our sailor would be attending A School in Missouri for LS.  Perhaps they were mistaken?  Thanks and God Bless our Sailors.

my son will be attending school In Meridian. He is still in booth camp. it is little hard for him .he will pass booth camp I will be happy when he finish booth camp.

Navymom17- they usually have them fly out on Saturday after PIR. You will get all the information from your sailor at PIR. After PIR you will have about 8 hrs to spend with your sailor before he/she has to back at barracks and then all of the sailors leave and get to the airport around 12am. You can meet them there and stay with them until their plane leaves. O'Hare has 2 USO buildings for military and their families.
