Thank you mmsono24 and fredsmom, what is TPU? And mmsono24 where did your boyfriend stay while waiting?

Comment by fredsmom on September 6, 2013 at 8:22pm
My son was there exactly 2 months. They are in TPU until classes start, yoeman school is about 5 weeks, then TPU until they get there orders. One of my sons fellow bootcamp/A school shipmate was there in TPU a month after A school was over because he had to stay until he got his orders for his first duty station.

@navymom17 it's only suppose to be about 5 to 6 weeks. My boyfriend is almost done, but he had to wait 3 weeks before he could even start class, some of his other classmates waited a month or longer.

For anyone who is interested, there is now a Facebook Page specifically for Logistic Specialist Navy Families....just type the name in the search box at the top of your FB page and it will come up. It is for chit chat, news, photos, questions and answers etc etc and general information. :)
