My son has been in Meridian since February 3rd. We made a 6 hour drive to Mississippi from Georgia for his birthday. I've sent him a box of "goodies" every other week since he's been there. He got his orders 2 weeks ago and should finish his school work within the week! :) Several of his shipmates that flew with him from GL have already graduated their programs and have or will soon ship out to their duty stations. We are excited to have him home for a little while before he moves on to his next adventure!! :)
