Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

hey everyone! i haven't been on this site for quite some time and i wanted to see how everyone is doing. My husband has been on deployment for a couple months now and will be home by the end of the year (hopefully) i will be moving down to San Diego in December. I would love to meet some new people and hopefully make some friends! =)

Hi ThanksMom! My son is still in school on base, so I mailed it to a PO Box # on base that he gave to me...and there's confirmation that it arrived a week ago last Tuesday. He's going to check again today with his yeoman.....I hope they find it cuz not only are there things in there that he needs but also cuz it wasn't cheap........oh well whatcha goin' do? Thank you!

Have any of you sent packages to SD only to have them get lost? I know it arrived because I have confirmation...... I've heard this happening at other bases and it bugs the heck out of me. My son had been in Pensacola and this never happened. He's now in SD....I send his first package and it never makes it to him. I can't send him any other packages if it's just going to benefit someone else.
