I know what you mean! When we were in Japan he was deployed for almost all of the time that we were there. It sucked most because he wasn't on the carrier so he was gone so much more and when the carrier was home it was almost guaranteed that he wouldn't be home...so all of my friends would have their husbands home but me...oh well. Sometimes my husband wouldn't email me for like two days and then I would get like 500 emails from him...but I know they get tired and just want to sleep when they get off....so I forgive him. :) Plus I think I probably email enough for the two of us! Ugh, I really need to go to bed....exam in the AM....lol

Aaaah I wish I could go home!!! Why'd I join the Navy?! Aaaaaaaaaaah, lol.

Dianna, so glad your hubby came home!!! Why didn't you tell him to bring MINE with him!? LOL! Enjoy your sister's wedding! :]

Vernmuro I'm in SD and bored out of my mind. I'm taking an advancement class all this week so I get out around 4-5pm and Friday/Sat I have off. Lol, when's your Sailor get back? I've still got another 3-6mo to go. Stupid deployments.

Hey ladies! I'm new to the site, but my husband has been in the navy for about a year now. We've just got orders for San Diego, and I figured this was the group to be in!

Chula Vista is beautiful as long as you stay east of the 805. I am from Chula Vista on the east side. It was really nice growing up there...my family still lives there. Eventually we will buy a house out there...plus the more east in CV you go the more developed its becoming...in the last 10 years it has developed so much, I love it!

hi ladies.. for anyone who is moving soon to SD I can give you some tips on some areas to stay out of.. City heights area is not great, parts of national city, chula vista right by base, but the more East you go, so away from the beach, in Chula vista can be pretty nice, and san ysidro is right on the border, and alot of cars get stolen there. Feel free to ask questions. I am from California and have lived in SD for a while.
