For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

So we just got back from the fair...I haven't been to the fair in years! Haha, last time I went it was still called the Del Mar Fair! But I am happy my son got to go, he had a great time! I hope you all find the time to go!

I agree NimNim. I work on the postpartum ward at the Naval hospital and all the moms are having their babies these last couple weeks, we haven't been so busy since the full moons during those big storms we were getting for a while!!! Aaah! I'm going to go crazy. It just makes me think that if they're all popping, we're going to get a big one soon.... uhg. Especially with all the little ones happening. I hate them so much.

honestly didn't even feel the earthquake. I just heard my condo shake, otherwise I wouldn't have even known there was an earthquake at all. We've been getting quite a few lately, so I'm kinda worried that the "big one" is coming soon :/

Yeah we have both of those and Mario Galaxy...We haven't played the Mario game since January! It's awesome to play with four people! We played while we were in Japan with our friends when they came out to visit us! So much fun! I totally recommend that one.

Yeah it's a bunch of different games on it...like bowling, canoeing, table tennis, cycling, sword fighting, wakeboarding, etc....it's really cool and he loves it! His grandpa gave him the game for his birthday. He also likes Mario Kart and we have one that has ski ball on it. The games are pretty pricey, I agree...it was easier to buy when I had an income! lol...

Wii Resort? Is that kinda like the sports thing? I need to set up mine again and get more games for it. Lol. We bought a while ago and couldn't afford games all the time so kinda got burned out on Wii sports. Lol!!
