This candle can be purchased for $35 - as a fundraiser we will have 20% of the sale proceeds to be donated to the USO.  As you may know they take care of our Sailors and SRs at all the airports and do other wonderous things during their deployment - I can't say enough good for all they do.  If you wish to purchase this fundraiser the group is " N4M - USO" - web: http://juliesalemo.scentsy.us/

I just finished pages on my son graduation from A school. So glad we could go to Pensacola and see it. Now I'm planning another trip in Dec to see him graduate from C school. Started a timeline to keep track of dates and places for him.

I am so excited.  I got the Salute Cricut cartridge on Ebay for only $26.00 and free shipping.  Can't wait to start my sons Navy album.  His PIR is 10/21!!

I hate when I misplace photos I know I have somewhere. It is just as bad as scrapping pictures twice because I have double prints and didn't check to see if they were on pages first. Right now I am putting all my pages in albums and checking pictures before taking the time to scrap them.

The pages I am working on now are from 1985 when my husband and I drove from VA to San Diego for his first ship. I had most of them and found the rest in another place. I will have to fill in with journaling the pictures I did not take. It is fun to look how farwe have come.

Yes I am very lucky. There are even some with my husband in them. He also collected postcards, stamps and money that can be added to the pages. This will be a huge under taken. Need to start soon. Luckily he wrote on the backs of the photos where and what it is.

OMG...  Jackie I feel your pain..  my son takes so few pictures... I told him that I will ship him a box for every picture he takes and two boxes for pictures with himself in them!!  I even told a few of his workmates of the deal so they will make double sure that pictures are taken!!

Planning a trip to Va Beach and checking out 3 new scrapbook stores there.  I'm hoping to find lots of Navy stuff. I am doing a book for my son and now I am helping my husband work on one of his 23 years in the Navy. He has sorted his pictures out. That was quite a chore. He has 3 WestPac cruises and lots of others.

About the only thing I have done is Smileboxes and those are cheats basically! But I would definitely like to make actual keepsakes!
