Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Oh, forgot the rest of my post....lol...
I started my Navy scrapbook last night. I have 2 pages done. Of course it helps that the kit I bought from KandCompany has some printed pages and you pretty much just stick your photo down and you are done....

I asked Jonathan about it... he says it says wear Navy Blues for graduation...in parenthesis it says .....wait for it......(Black). hooyah..

It's okay, When Nathan and Loran were home last weekend for Amber's funeral I checked the uniforms out very closely. I just didn't want to open that can of worms again lol. They should be blue in my opinion but I don't count lol I am just the MOM.

Those are sooooo sweet Lala. Remember the little tizzy we had on the 10/29 group about the color....lol...well, now we know...we've been, we've seen they are definitely BLACK. Sorry to have given you a hard time about that.

Okay, I thought I would share some pics of the things I have been making for my Sailors Scrapbook. I am now making these available to my friends on N4M's so send me a message if you would like more info. I will have the sailors dressed in Digicams in a few days. I am so excited about these. I can't wait for my paper to come in. :-)

DCT- the link is Craftbits.com then on the left side click on scrapbooking. It will bring up a list of projects and look for the one that says Altered Scrapbooking - Scrapbook In A Box You can print the directions from there. If you can't find it let me know and send me your email address and i will gladly copy it and send it to you as an attachment.

Okay, got all my supplies in ... stickers, paper, scrapbook with Navy emblem, brads, clips, etc. Even got a new print head for my printer!!! yay...now I just need photo paper.....hahahaha...although kodak right now is running a special for 10 cents each...code spookyprints.
