I found directions today for making the 3 dimensional scrapbook box that opens up when you take the lid off. Let me know if you want me to send you the directions. :-)

That is a great idea. I gave my sailor an extra card for her camera and when one is full she can send it to me and i will make a CD of all her pics and load them to the computer then send her a copy of the CD and her card back, by then she should have the other one full to send me. I also made a list of what I want pics of, like her dogtags for her navy Scrapbook

To fellow scrapbookers, here's the 2 sites that carry a lot of Navy products: www.creatingmilitarymemories.com/navy/paper.html and www.memoriesinuniform.com.
Lala - I sure wished I lived near you for all those crops! I go to a lot in the Maryland and Pennsylvania areas = love the weekend crops now that I'm an empty nester.

We are having a Free Crop this weekend. Use CRICUT with lots of cartridges for free. Just bring your pics and paper. We have a great scrapbook store very close by. Anyone live near Western NC wanna come? Or heck take a long drive or fly in. We would be happy to have you come. And what better time of year to visit the Mountains, Fall Colors are awesome right now. You know you wanna come :-)

Thanks for your input and ideas Mickee! I am having a going away party for him and will have throw cameras around for all his friends to use and postcards for them to fill out for him. I guess its a start..... I also have a great pic of him as an infant in a sailor hat...

Hi, my son is off to BC in less than a month and I thought this might be a fun project for my daughter and I to do because lately she has been sad knowing her big brother will be leaving soon. I have never scaped before so any begining ideas would help.
