DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

My kids laugh at me when I work on their scrapbooks... They keep telling me they will never look at them so why put all the time into them... I do catch them looking over my shoulder though when I work on pages of long ago...

Ladies there may be hope... my son (not the one in the navy) was in New York over the Christmas break from school... went to visit his girlfriend... anyway he has been back and busy with school and work... anyway he was deep cleaning his room the other day sorting away the piles... next thing I know he comes out with his arms full of ticket stubs, playbills, maps and more... all from his trip.
his comment was... 'don't know why I did but I saved all this stuff for you' Maybe I did train one of them... tehehehe

It is a fantastic time to be on the ship and see how hard our sailors work!

Tiger cruises happen on all kinds of ships also... Here in Seattle during our Seafair celebration this month there are several Navy ships that offer a one day cruise as they pull into Port for fleet week... Sign ups are closed for this year but check other areas that have a fleet week celebrations.

Barbara.... if you only knew just how many pictures I have taken of my kids... they learned early to 'give crazy mom the picture and she leaves us alone'.

True confession... I took a picture of the box! Boy did my son laugh when he saw that!

Welcome Mary! If you can figure out how to get your son to send pictures then share it with the rest of us! I snap pictures like crazy every time I am with him... the only pictures he sent were ones he took... of course he is not in them! Silly boy!
