We live in Wisconsin so it's only a 4 hour car ride to graduation. It went by too fast and then he was off to school. (That was hard for me) I asked Alex if he knows Ryan...yep they are in the same class. He said your son is really cool! I'm just glad they started school because Alex was getting very bored! He was in a great mood today. We are hoping he gets back for the Christmas season...although it would be warmer if we go to Mississippi. :)

Hi Lora,

Thanks for responding! My son is Ryan Hlavac, and he's doing well. He did some volunteer work while in holding and has been doing PT everyday to get in better shape. Yes, thank goodness they still got paid! He graduates from A school on Jan. 17th. When does Alex graduate? I understand that A school graduation is not the same as boot camp graduation. Were you able to go to that ceremony? It was my first trip to the midwest and I enjoyed seeing Chicago. It is nice to be able to text/talk to Ryan. He's my youngest and has never been away from home for so long. He's planning to come home for Christmas. I hope you will be able to see Alex during the holidays.

Hello! My son Alex Zebro is doing pretty good. He's been very bored the last 3 weeks with being in holding. He finally started on Thursday. He has been able to spend money....thank goodness they kept paying during the govt shutdown. Its very nice to text him again. How is your son doing?

Lora,

My son graduated 9/27 also and is in Gulfport. He seems to be doing well. How is your son doing? Maybe they are in the same group. He is a BUCA and started A school this past week.

My son finally arrived in Gulfport yesterday.  Graduated 9/27/13.  After cancelled flights and long waits...hoping he got some rest.
