We just made our flight arrangements!!!  I got my scarf monogramed, in navy, today with "913."  I put his, our, last name on the other end...just as an afterthought!  I'm digging out my ski clothes for long underwear.  TMI I guess, but I can't even imagine how cold it will be.  We all need to start praying for traveling mercies for us who will be flying and those who will be driving. And pray for our recruits preparing for BS 21!  Oh girls, I can't wait to give you all a BIG hug.  We are making it!  Won't be long now...

Ladies, after keeping track of the weather in Great Lakes, I don't know about you, but I'm wearing jeans, warm shirt and sweater and warm boots!  I know we have to walk outside to the graduation hall, so no fancy duds for me! :)

Maria I am so happy!!!   Sounds like he is doing great!  Thanks for sharing.  That puts us all at ease to hear that the Div is doing so well.  Today would be their last day of Hell week then if they started on the 24th, yea!  So excited about their team spirit and the great job on Marlinspike.  Oh, girls it is getting close!  I'll let you know if I get one tomorrow!

Darnell, I think Marlin Spike is where they practice for BS21? Also Captain's Cup is like a big field day the Sat before graduation where they compete against other divisions for the trophy. Since Div 913 is male/female, they'll compete against other divs that are too. (Some of the divs are male only)  We just got over 12' snow yesterday, so were busy shoveling & then keeping the fire going in our stove when the power went out around midnight. No water, no elec., but we were warm. Finally went to Panera for lunch (stir crazy!), I didn't even care what my hair looked like! lol Power is on! Off to the shower!  I'll post a new profile pic showing our winter wonderland. Hoping the mail lady makes it here with a LONG letter!  3 weeks from now we'll be in the car...driving to Great Lakes!

Maria- I have my fingers crossed for you to get mail.

I got my pink scarf and had it momogramed yesterday.  I had 913 put on it was. I love it and cant wait to wear it.

I sent my daughter the bootcamp questionaires that I printed off from here. I got it in the mail yesterday. It was fun read. She said she has a great bunch of people in her div. She sounds good. Does anyone know what the Marlynspike is? I dont know. What is the captains cup? Still so many things I dont know.

Well ladies I hope everyone has a good today.
