Maria-

I know how you feel, its hard not being able to be with them on thier birthday, but the girls are right you will have to celebrate later. Im sure they will do something for him, even if it is just sing happy birthday. Thats what they did for Bailey.Well she did jumping jacks while they sang.  She loved it. Hang in there. your in my thoughts and prayers.

Maria I am saying my "get mail" prayers for you.  Did you know that I couldn't even tell you what my mailman looked like until Dec.12th!  I didn't realize how important his job is.  Before email and text messaging this is the way it was... seems like such a long time ago...

This is going to be a great week!

WhiteClay,  I think it is a great idea to list our plans.  I am getting so confused about some of the extras, like ribbons, t-shirts, so I need to get caught up...  It's getting closer!!!

Kelroy, welcome, I am so glad you found us.  I see you are from NC, and driving up.  We will say "good weather" prayers for you.  We are in Augusta and will be flying up and into Milwaukee airport and driving down, 50 min.  Hoping the traffic won't be as bad, as Chicago's, and driving No. Our daughter will be rushing back to school so we will be hoping for good weather on the return trip too.  Will you be able to stay longer since you are driving up?  What is your sons next step?

Beth, thank you for joining our group.  I really enjoyed you helpful information and kind words.  I look forward to your insight as we close in on Battlestations and graduation.  Welcome.

sherrys, (02,913)  I am so glad you found us and were able to "stick" this time.  Our sons may know each other, he is going through the same with the drums.  He didn't sound as upbeat in his last letter either.  He had night watch, and was sleep deprived!  He sounded better in his letter to his sister an grandmother.  They know they can sound off to us moms!  I am looking forward to  meeting you.  We are in Augusta, I see you are in NC.  What part of NC?

Our second son was married Jan 8! His brother at BC missed being best man, but our younger daughters read the comments that he sent in a letter at the reception. It was touching and made us feel he was kind of there...it's all good stuff, so you just keep moving and enjoy each moment as it comes.

Maria, I have been thinking about you today.  Sending up BIG birthday wishes to your son.  I know you are looking forward to a "double" celebration!  I am going to read through and get caught up...I have missed you all...think I have gotten "moved in" to the new computer now!  Oh, my daughter got engaged this weekend!  Looks like we will be planning a Dec. wedding!  How many emotions can we feel at one time?  I'm there!  lol
