Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello girls,

Im so glad to hear our kids are doing good. The days are getting shorter untill we get see them. Cant wait. You know this site is wonderful. I want to talk about Bailey all the time,  I want to share  how proud I am of her and I think people might get tried of hearing about it .  I know you guys understand, feel the same joy, and the same saddness that they are gone. Thank you so much for being here.

Blessedw2, yes we are happy and Jonathan is happy as well. Im writing him today and see if the kids had met yet. But I will tell him what your son does. No counting today we have 31 days to hug them and see them.........I dont remember what he is doing in PIR...so that will be in my next call or letter.

Oh, MariaM that is such great news!!!  Glad you heard from him and sorry about his molars.  But, Ceremonial Guard, it looks like his future has just come together in a BIG way!  I am so happy for all of you, and him.  I sent mine a letter asking about your son.  Mine sent me a list of new friends but only their last names...  Mine will be playing the bass drum at PIR.  What will yours be doing?  So exciting about Darnells daughter carrying Hawaii flag.  I can't wait to see all of our Sailors at PIR!  I can't express enough how much of a blessing this "913" group of moms has been to me.  Sharing with the three of you has helped in so many ways...Thank you mom's!

JessicaB thats exactly where he is going...I couldnt think of the name...and tears and time let my brain forget important thigs!

I was so happy for me, because he was in seven heaven........he said I found my path , im finishing school, become an officer and opportunities and endless.

Girls, I got my call yesterday!! I was at work and with clients in my office...when I saw PAY PHONE 847...............I jumped and said, excuse me its my Navy son and I have to take this calllll...run to the break room gto diconeccted twice...but  Jonathan redial................It felt so good to alk to him!!!!!!!!!!

Fist asked him about all those 6 molars...and he was doing ok...im glad, he talk about the food, its very fat-free, so he is happy...he is alwasy working out. His job is based in his previous experiences, he is coordinating medical appts for all this big group...so he is in his element.

He said, Mom more good news, im going to be stationed in Washington Dc.....in some Performance Division ...I wanted to ask him so many  questions, but with the emtions and tears....I forgot a lot.

Darnell, he met Bailey, they laugh of us...because we are amazing.,,it took him a little be to find out who she was because they go by last name...but they met...WoooHooo!!!!!!!

He talked about two more friends but im not remembering their names...I will ask him in my letter today.

He is very excited about PIR, we get to have them all day after they eat breakfast on th 19th, and the 18th after Graduation is over. They have to be back to the ship around 8 pm or 9pm...he wasnt sure..

they have lots of snow but he says its beautiful. So he sound really happy !!!!!! I was too.

Next call for me , probably in about 2 more weeks........but let the mail comming he said!!!

Girls this is the Best Side ever....dont know how others Moms can funtion without it!!!

Hope we all can get together on the 17th, I know we  will be in the same area at PIR.

Normanw2boyzndNavy, so happy for you...and so happy to see more Moms-Family from our SRs  Division 913...

I havent recieved my call yet, my son got 6 molars pull yesterday and they put him to sleep..im sure he is not ready to carry a conversation today...hopefully this weekend...

I will keep everybody posted.........and please share the good news...its always good to know what this outstanding Ship 2 Division 913 is doing!!!!

Oh Maria, thats tough thinking of getting all those teeth pulled. Your right he probable cant talk. Give him a day or so.  : (

Not to brag to much but yes I think Bailey is beautiful too, but she also has a wonderful spirt, caring, loving, smart all those things which make her beautiful inside and out.

Girls, I have a letter today!!!!  Jonathan, was having 6 molars pull out today (4 wisdom + 2 more) I get the wisdom but the other two,,,no idea!!!!...he was going to be put to sleep because of the process...Just thinking when he wakes up he will be not a very happy camper.... wish I can be there with him....

He loves it!!! He is thanking me and his Dad for always pushing him to do his best and all he want for graduation is time with us!!!! ...and a good meal with family!!! so that will happen...!..he wrote...Mom, my life has changed 350 degrees for the good...I was already proud of him but now,,,,he just "did it"".. I remember him playing basketball in the high school team...and made lots of points for the team...now I just want to see him achieve his Best .....Miss him!!!

Darnell, he said he had to find out who your daughter was since they go but last name...so when he wrote ...they didnt met yet!!!!.....

Now, I feel better..I wish I could be a flight on the wall...just to see their reactions....she is a beautiful girl!!!! Oh!!! Love your pictures!!!!!.

Well my friends, maybe this weekend a get a call...dont think Jonathan can talk too  much..but my phone its glue to me 24 X7!!!

Darnell I am so happy you got the call.  It is amazing how great it feels just hearing their voices.  This should carry us for...maybe...a few days! LOL  I hope everyone else has gotten their calls to.  God Bless our recruits!
