I am still here, but several years ago the creator of this group told me that she would be leaving (I think that is correct?), so I created a new CT group. It's not very active either, but I have noticed people joining.
Hello ladies,
I hadn't been on this site for a while. (I was on Connecticut Navy Moms) I'm happy to see that theres activity on here.
If anyone is going to the packing party on November 2nd please scroll to the top tab "event" and not that you will be attending. The port 5 will be serving lunch and I need to keep count.
Thanks
h

Hi Doreen,
This group isn't too active, although it was very helpful when my son was thinking of enlisting. There is another CT group here:
Good morning,
My daughter is currently serving on the USS Nimitz in the Red Sea. Her deployment was extended due to the support needed near Syria. She and her sailor family have been deployed since March however we heard word from the CO that they will be home for the holiday. I live in the northwest corner of CT - actually right in the notch. Just curious if this is an active group and if "yes," what activities are upcoming? Thank you
Hi, I just joined this group. My son reports to the USS Hartford at the end of the month after graduating from ELT training at Goose Creek, SC. He is married and has a son. I hope to get to know other moms who has sailors on the Hartford.
Hi Everybody!
I am new here! My son is on his way to go boot camp today! I am so emotional and crying on/off but need to keep my mind busy by starting new project to paint our office room as fresh paint... Need buddy system from all of u!
Hi,
Please help if you can...
If there are any moms that would be able to send a package or two to this months MAS adoption, it would be greatly appreciated.
If you can't, perhaps you could write some cards or support letters to brighten their day. Every little gesture helps in a big way to make the adoption successful.
Please feel free to message me with any questions that you might have.
We are going to keep trying to get us CT moms together to have a packing party and meet each other.
Thanks for your help!!
