Can't wait!

Actually, my sailor did battle stations last Thurs night, so everything is finished, just waiting for graduation now.

That does sound like a big deal!

Did your daughter say new recruits or new sailors?

I don't know what airport my son will be leaving from, but I have heard he might be sitting around for a while. Maybe that's what she saw.

My daughter is in the O'hare airport today and there are alot of new recruits she said.  I have to wonder if that changed too or maybe depends on where they are going. My son flew out of Midway to Pensacola..

So your son's last week will be a little more relaxed.  My son did battle stations a week early too. But that was only because VP Dick Chaney was going to be there to present them with their new caps.  We have never been able to find a picture of it though.  It must be someplace as it was a big deal.

And I'm sorry about the back and forth thing, CTmom. When my son was getting ready to ship, I watched the other two CT families who were going at the same time change their dates back and forth. Oddly enough, those two left right before J did, and one will graduate with him, while the other graduated yesterday!

They actually did the first two groups on Wed-Thurs, which I guess is very unusual.
