Hi Valtameri!  Are the Moms in CT forming another group?

Perhaps we should form a New England Navy Mom group?

Let me know what you think.

Hi Proud ... Sorry that I missed seeing this, I think that's pretty cool! This group was supposed to be closing down, so I haven't checked here in a while.

Hi Everyone!  I'm a Navy Mom from MA.  I wanted to extend an invitation to you all to participate in an event planned for this Sat., 10/1.  Patty, a RI Navy Mom, is heading up a Navy Mom presence at The Big E (no not the Enterprise, the Fair).  Navy Week is being celebrated at The Big E in Springfield, MA and we have been invited to participate.  This is the first time we have been invited!!  We don't have a lot of time to really do something big, but we have quite a few items being sent to us from other areas in the country so we should be able to make our groups known to people who don't know we even exist.  The Big E runs from 9am to 11pm.  We are NOT going to stay that late, likely more like 9-5 with time to set up and break-down not included in those hours.

If anyone would like to take part in this event. Please leave me a comment or send me a PM and I can give you more details.  Here's hoping some of you live close enough to the Springfield, MA that you will be able to join us.

Thanks for considering it,

Donna

Before this group vanishes, I want to thank Sheila and everyone for helping me out when my son was thinking of enlisting! I'm glad I found this group at that time (and went to the cookie exchange)!

Since this group is closing, ANYONE who would like to keep touch with CT Moms on N4Ms, even if it is just now and then, is more than welcome to join the new group:

I think it would be nice if a few people who are on both FB and N4Ms could sort  of bridge the gap to share pertinent information on events or what have you. :)

Here's the new group, just so the great state of Connecticut keeps a Navy4Moms presence:
