OK, I'm still game for this ... where do you want to meet? Shall we meet halfway-ish?

I'm checking to see if anyone else wants to go. Is this thing still a possibility of happening?

Well, we are adaptable! We were thinking lunch on Saturday, July 23rd, at an Outback Steakhouse somewhere. You're way up at the top of the state ... hmm ... how far south would you be willing to dirve? We are worth a trip from anywhere! ;)

Where and when are you thinking? I don't drive too far.

Flyersnut -- I still want to get together. Anyone else interested? It would be nice to get together with some other Navy moms and share some stories.

He's a CTR.  Kyle's at Corry Station which is small he hasn't mentioned food though. I sent him his computer and some cloths..they should have arrived today.

Is your son making friends at Oceana?  You told me of the "problem" he had in Pcola.

Hi CT -- he's at NAS Oceana, and well ... maybe it's too early to tell. He did say the food isn't good. Pensacola has very good food, according to him. What rating is your son that it may take months to class up? I know that AD used to take a while, but it's moving quicker now.

Whew, things are finally slowing down and I can finally get back here.

PIR was a little disappointing. RTC made it out to be a huge thing and it really wasn't. I and many others wished they'd left it alone and did it in the all like all the rest.  Waiting for the DVD to see if it's better than what I could see.  Kyle is now in Pensacola, said it could be months before he classes up.. Oh boy. Glad BC is over though.

Ryan is on his way back from deployment as of tomorrow.   The ship pulls into Norfolk.  His dad is on the Tiger cruise with him...can not wait...to hear the details.  I told him I like details so you best remember everything.  Lets see what I get.  Got an email and the Navy is trying a new thing and doing live coverage via livestream webcam of the homecoming.  So I'll be right here glued to my computer watching the whole thing. Takes hours and hours I hear.  Glad my chair is comfortable and I told everyone...do not bother me on Friday.

I so so wanted to be there but with not job now it wasn't a good idea. So here is where I'll be.

Flyernut that is a long day and flight.  My oldest will be stationed in Okinawa come the spring for 3yrs.  I'll be in your shoes.  Get Skpe so you can talk..

Valtameri where is he now and is it better than Pensacola?

Hi Marcie, I saw you on chat today. You were concerned about email while your daughter is deployed. Welcome!
