OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Mornin' Ladies----the Navy Mom gathering at Donna's sounds like fun, although I'm a little on the shy side. Found out the son won't be home for the holidays but being that he's in VA we might just bring a belated Christmas down to him---tree and all!

Kim---question for you---is the main gate at the Sub Base right across from the Nautilus museum? My daughter is taking me down to do some Christmas shopping and I know we need to stop near the main gate to get a pass.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Vetren's Day.I for one displayed my Navy flag at mt workspace---haha--Semper Fortis.

Take care,E

Donna and Kim I will send you the list. As he's never done this before I'm sure there are things missing from the list. If you have anyother ideas go for it...
