My heart goes out to you Deb, I know it's not easy to miss a phone call.

Rejoicing that our rcts got to make calls!!!!

God's PERFECT timing!  Snow cancelled my night's activities so I was home for the phone call!!!  Yeah!!  Our daughter called just as my husband was coming home from work.  She's sounded "croaky" and said she didn't sleep well last nite.  She's doing good - got a marksmenship ribbon - she said div is starting to work together more - things are looking up!

RDC told her "NO CRYING"  - so we didn't for the 32 mins we talked, but after we hung up, my husband & I both cried.    Time to call/text family & friends to share the news!

Glad to know when they do battlestations! Logan stays at GL & his A school will run either 27 or 33 weeks depending on which he gets.

Finally, a phone call from Div. 910, about 20 minutes, it was so good to hear his voice. He sounded so good, very upbeat. He has passed all of his inspections and tests so far. He had his wisdom teeth pulled during the first week or so of boot camp.  He got a ribbon for marksman but did not make sharp shooter. He is in charge of the dirty dozen, so he runs the head crew; they clean the bathroom.  He said that he will leave Great Lakes on February 1 for NUKE A school in Goose Creek, SC as an ET (Electronics Technician). Yay, we will be able to spend most of the weekend with him.

Ah Anna you’re entitled and I’m sure everyone understood, if not oh well, we all understand.

Deb, sorry you missed the call, glad he’s still PIR 1/28. Asked my son about yours, he said he thought he knew him and that he was not set back.

Tricia my son said that this week they have test 3, personal inspections, and DMI (department materials inspection-an inspection of the division’s racks [beds] and gear). He also said that BattleStations begins the evening of Sunday, January 23 and goes through the night.

Ladies, got all the info from his dad and my daughter...not only did he have pneumonia but he had also twisted his knee and the muscle from his knee to his hip was inflamed :-(( On the much brighter side he made sharp shooter and E2. I'm going to listen to that voice mail 500 times before bed. It's so nice to breath freely again. Love you all for the support.

Oh Deb, I HATE that you missed it!!!  I'm SO GLAD he's till in PIR 1/28!!!!!  I asked my husband if he knows him and he thinks he does!

bls- my husband said the same thing about the division not coming together yet!  They WILL, I have faith!  He's excited about the PIR this Friday and the performance!

I have a HUGE weight lifted off me and I'm SO grateful for this phone call...  I made a tearful, snotty mess of myself in the checkout line at Whole Foods.  The cashier started crying and the manager came over and packed all my stuff up since I aparently just ceased to function as soon as I heard his voice!
