Got my phone call today!!!  She is feeling great and looking forward to B21 and then getting out of there!!!  Can't wait for us to get there and for PIR ceremony.  She said there was a black-out with the storm and they almost had to postpone the PIR for yesterday, but the power came back on in time.

Those poor family members for that group have been through the wringer this week with this weather.

Hope you guys hear from your sailor today!!!

We are almost there!!!

So my MIL got a letter from my husband. Turns out he ISN'T a Saturday departure :) WOOHOO! I won't post his exact date (OPSEC) but I'm just happy it's NOT that Saturday!!! :D Also now we have a final date for moving which I am excited about so we can get the ball rolling on that.

He got a Sharpshooter rating on the range so I am really, really, really, proud!

The letter was  written the 27th so keep your eyes peeled for your SRs shooting range score in your next letter (maybe tomorrow?).

Lol at Deb--he said there were only 4 married people in the whole division!

In my husband's letter from the 18th he mentioned losing lots of people, but don't worry ladies!! If your loved one had been set back you would have already gotten the call.

Just as the link Deb posted said, they did their firearm quals on the 27th!

I am excited that they are out of hell week and hoping for a phone call in the next few days.

DebBee~ This was the first time he told me about who he put on the list. And now one of those aren't going to make to the ceremony but will arrive at the airport later that day. So I am hoping he can change it. Don't NOT send your letter. LOL
My son only mentioned losing one SR and that was his second letter. But they have been taking on more SR's that got sick previous and needed to get back into the ranks. Being one of the smallest if not the smallest Div. Funny DebBee your son mentioned outside these walls. My son also mentioned how they are inside most of the time. It's rare they get outdoors. And I was soooo worried about it being so cold and them marching in it all day long. :)
17 DAYS ladies!!! Go Div 086!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As they say " no news is good news"  Just had heard earlier that there were some drops and sick, but you are right, if the Division as a whole were not doing well, he would have mentioned it, or not been so upbeat.  Prayers continue, and countdown ........tick, tick, tick!!!!!

DebBee did he say how the Division was doing as a whole, how were they holding up, or they were any dropping or sick?
