Hey ladies. I am driving to Chicago from Western Iowa so pray all good weather! Now I am getting really nervous. I have to pick our daughter up from Iowa State and then head to Chicago. I don't need added stress. UGH
I got a letter Sat dated 01/23. And he just really mentioned who he put on the list and that he would find out his rating Monday (today I think) said whatever cold he had he is over it. But a lot of the guys are still sick. So pray pray pray they all get over this mess before BattleStations. Poor kids.
Hoping we all get calls soon!!!

Has anybody gotten any letters dated the 20th or 23rd? I am beginning to wonder if they got in trouble or something because my last letter was dated 18th.

I can't see them NOT passing BS21!!! I have high hopes they will all get it together and work as a group. It seems all the other divisions ahead of them haven't had any troubles with passing. But when it comes to booking travel arangements the Navy Handbook said don't do it until they have reached halfway. Well, our guys are over half way there. So I think you are okay with booking flights now. I think you would get better deals too if you do it before too much longer

I haven't gotten a letter in 2 weeks but in the last letter he also mentioned how since they are the smallest div they are getting all the recruits who are getting put back into training. This does damper their "teamwork" efforts a little.  But since they are not getting a whole lot of IT maybe that's the benefit to it.
