got a letter yesterday, and not much info in mine either, short and to the point that he is doing ok. I get the impression they are ALL very anxious to be done with boot camp :)

I got 2 letters today! Everything is still going good! Nothing new really...He said they were just doing the same kind of things. If I do get more important information I will be glad to share!

I received a letter today, but then I send a SASE and extra paper in every letter I mail out.  And I think I finally convinced my son that his life is easier if mom gets details. :-)

Did anyone get letters this week? I didn' For some reason my son thinks he'll be able to call every week so I dont believe he wrote. I tried to tell him the amount of calls he's had is rare but guess he didn't listen. Will kids ever learn Mom is right? This will be a difficult weekend at my house and no letter to boot.

Thanks Katies mom for the detailed account.  I now know what to ask my son.  Why or why can't boys be as detailed as girls..geesh.  He told me Div 215 gets more pt than they do, but I have a feeling  I talked to him before the 2hr workout.

His bunk is right outside the RDC office so he feels like he's always being watched.  He sounded frustrated that he doesn't have as much time to study like the rest due to his laundry job.  That just doesn't seem right to me. Shouldn't everyone have the same about of study time?  I hope they realize that when it comes to test time.  Ya right. Just bugs me as everyone needs to do well.  Hard to believe he's been gone 1 month today. Sure doesn't seem like it at all.  Yes Tuesday was the start of the new week last Sun and Mon didn't count.

Happy Birthday to Molians son. Lucy my older sailor turns 24 on the 19th.  He's deployed so I won't be able to get in touch with him either.

Good morning, all.  It's going to be a hot hot weekend in Houston, so I'm staying inside as much as possible.  I have to run out to get cat treats before my Sasha gets really angry (she's not handling the new kitten well and needs tons of reassurance), but otherwise I'm avoiding sunshine and heat.

Today is my SR's 22nd birthday.  I've already sent a card but I wish I could talk to him.  I hope he has a good day.

How is everyone? Haven't heard from some of you lately! Hope all is well and everyone got letters this week!

Sillygoose they are toooooo cute! Also, I emailed the tshirt company and they said if we order gray by mid week we can have those by PIR. I'd rather have gray than black.
