Sorry I've been MIA ladies-I was at his niece's 1st Birthday all day. And YES I got a call. It's funny I called his sister in law to talk to her about the party and he was on the phone with her husband-his brother. I was SOOO anxious to get my call. He called the rest of his family first and said he saved the best for last!

Besides his letter, and him reassuring me 1,000 times, I could also hear it in his voice that he is doing well. He said him and the rest of his div are a little jealous that their sister div-215 is being highlighted and always getting pics taken since they are with them often but don't get the spotlight. Ladies-I was so glad to hear his voice I forgot to ask about your SRs but I did ask in my last letter so hopefully I'll know soon. He's working hard at his role as Recruit Chief Petty Officer but ready for PIR.. He's staying in Great Lakes so now I can finalize my travel plans. I'm very excited about PIR and more letters!

I hope we all get some more letters this week. And very accurate post Haley-ALL apply! lol

Jenn, Mitch mentioned doing PT for someone else and that he didn't mind at all.  I'm so proud of him!  I had my doubts about his ability to make it through bc because of his mouth and attitude, but he seems to be adjusting just fine.  It makes all the hard work and effort worth it to know he does things like this when mom's NOT watching. :D

Moliana, your son stepped up to get mine out of some "trouble"  this am!!!!!!!! My son is sick and on restricted PT, he did not have a piece of uniform on when going through the "shark tank" and was reprimanded by a drill instructor. Since my son can not PT, two of the people in his division volunteered to do his PT for him while he watched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bovey was one of them!!!!!!!!!!! You raised a good one :) thanks. talk about taking one for the team :)
