The search for an apt. has been daunting! The job search will be a little delayed since DC schools started their summer break only a week ago. CTmom-I've heard horror stories about the traffic! So living by a metro station is key for me. I'm hesitant about living in VA or MD b/c my classes are all evening classes so I don't want a long commute later a night. But thanks for the info! I am planning on going to the meet and greet so I look forward to meeting you too Theresa : ) Our division has been doing really well...they have a 4.91 out of 5 average. Awww...thanks ladies-I'll be sure to deliver the message as soon we get a phone call! Thanks for the update about tonight. Blue candle will definitely be burning!

My blue candle has been "burning" since Friday when they took their PFA.

The RDC's probably thought we were getting spoiled with phone calls so they didn't let them call us at all this week, in anticipation for our phone call tomorrow.

Does anybody wish it was already Tuesday? Monday NEEDS to hurry up and be DONE!

Yep! We are here...it's our turn...as much as I have thought about all of our SR's since last Thursday, I can't believe it's time!!!!! I do wish we had gotten a phone call, too. Some divisions even got calls two weekends in a row....216 is just busy, I guess! I have so enjoyed our time we have gone through with each other...it's so addicting getting on here everyday and seeing what everyone has to say...the PIR group is most amusing at times!!! Maybe we will survive the weather CTmom! It's hot here everyday. Also, early morning....maybe it won't be so bad. Thanks to RCPO Goose.....I think our division has been great!!!!! Tell him thank you SillyGoose!!!!! Can't wait to meet you all and I hope after PIR that we can get some pictures of our kidos together!!!! Lighting my candle! Praying for that call tomorrow!!!!!!

Right now I would like to kick the RDC's for not letting them have any phone calls in a couple of weeks.  Just when you really really need to talk. Geesh.  Has anyone checked the weather for Friday? From what I can tell it's going to be in the 90's. with 20% chance of thunder storms. Here's a dumb/stupid concern but.... PIR is never out side except for this one. So, it's hot and sunny. my son is a red head=very sensitive skin, he is going to fry without  sunscreen.  Ya, I know he's a big boy but I bet RTC didn't think of the "frying" factor Let's hope no one passes out due to the heat too.

Just a few more days and the stress of the last 8 weeks will be gone.

Hey Sillygoose, are you looking inside DC or the surrounding area. Traffic is a huge nightmare. My husband lives in Northern VA and commutes to the Pentagon. takes forever. Good luck oh plus it's is a tad expensive in the area for something decent.

Sillygoose that is great to hear he will be so close!!!!! Battle stations for us is Monday night. Go to the PIR 7/1/2011 group and up in the discussion...it shows the schedule. Hope things have gone good for you with the apt and job search. can't wait to meet you! You going to Meet & Greet on Thursday night? It's at Ramada in Waukegan.

Heeey ladies! I feel so out of the loop :/ Apt. and job searching in DC has more than occupied my time! Still waiting on calls like everyone else. My SR got to call his mom about some paperwork a couple days ago and said they had a call scheduled on Father's Day but just didn't get to it. I stopped checking RTC today since all surrounding divisions are making sailor calls and it's making me feel some kind of way waiting. lol  I hope we get Sailor calls soon...praying tomorrow is the day! Any SRs have orders for Norfolk, VA??? My SR and I are so happy because he will only be 3 1/2 hours from DC. God continues to bless us! I hope everyone is doing well...July 1st is almost here!!!!
