Battlestations should be ending right now! Woo Hoo! I have worried all night! Didn't hardly sleep, I kept waking up! Dreamed of battlestations! LOL! Hoping to get that call later today. Hubby has an 8:30 am appt and I have to take Erin to school so hoping it doesn't come in the morning. They should be having the capping ceremony around 9am or something. Does anyone know what time the capping ceremony is?

My stomach and nerves have been all over the place today and this evening! My mom wrote me this encouragement on facebook tonight:

Barb, Michael is going to be just fine. He will pass this. Please assure yourself, and try and stop worrying. Michael has come this far and is doing very good. I have faith he is going to sail through it. I wish I could be a fly on the ship wall and watch it.

Don't you just love mom's who just love to encourage us and help US get through the worrying and everything else?

Go 075!

I am too feeling those knots in my stomach as battlestations will be starting at 8pm tonight! Kind of been down today as Erin went to the dentist and had some cavities and I feel like such a BAD mom! Errr!! Too much soda, and candy and not enough brushing and flossing! We've got to get 2 of them filled soon before they turn into root canals! I feel so awful....

Now to good news .....

We got another letter from Michael today! He was pretty upbeat in his letter that was wrote on the 24th of January. He passed all his inspections and did very well on his final PFA :

Did the 1.5 run in 11:04
Sit Ups - 104
Push Ups - 86 Wow!

He says he is glad the gas chamber is over that he didn't like it too much! LoL! Battlestations is tonight and we should get calls tomorrow!! Woo Hoo! Let's keep praying! Go DIV 075!

I got a letter! Gas chamber wasn't too bad. Steve said he passed the PFA easily despite the mononucleosis. He said that they can now have desserts. He has to make up the special physical on Feb. 1 because he was too sick to do it on schedule. Battle stations tonight and then they have to stay awake all day Friday.

Congrats on the call, Trini! I am jealous! LoL! Wish Michael had called! Did he say they all took the 3rd exam on Monday and they all passed? Can't wait to get the call on Friday!

8 days ... Woo Hoo! I can't believe that we are "leaving on an airplane" in 7 days! We are going to be able to hug our sailors!

Wow, Battlestations is Thursday and Friday.... I'm a Sailor call coming soon! My son said in his letter that BS was 28th and 29th, he drew a January calendar on his letter and BS was in the box 28 and 29. So, guess we'll know for sure once we get those calls! GO DIV 075!!

I just ordered my son one of these coins as a gift for graduation from this website:

http://store.nwtmint.com/Navy/Bases_and_Installations/4

Carole who is the leader of the 2/5/10 PIR group shared the link the other day. I ordered mine regular shipping and it said it would be here by 2/2/10.

9 days before we are in Chicago! WooT!
