Welcome to the group Stormin's Mom! SOOO glad you found us! We've been wondering where all of our group was! Glad you've finally found us and we can talk about our boys and how much we miss them and about anything else that comes to mind!

We got a letter! We got a letter! We got a letter!

We've now gotten letters from him on Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays! Michael said there was a fire in his ship and it was crazy - they had to evacuate to the ship across the street for an hour and he said it sucked because that day they had to get up at 4am to run the PFA. He said on the 6th ( the day he wrote the letter) he had a Personell and Weapons Turnover Inspection and this time he got no hits at all! He said that week ( week of the 6th) they have the drill inspection and he thinks they have earned all 4 flags by the end of the drill inspection. He also asked his dad to send the scores of the college bowl games! He said that he had to close the letter because he needed some sleep and would write again later!

We got a letter! We got a letter! We got a letter! Can you tell I am excited?!? I told you guys I would share!! Who else got one?

Hi Gang! I am new to the group. I finally found you! (My fault!!). I have read all of the postings and the letters I have received from my son, Steve, correlate well with yours. Steve has also had a sore throat. He will go to SC on 2/6/10 for A school. I don't know anything about meet and greet but would like to if there is any information. LOL- I also heard about the IT for the candy wrapper. Glad to find this group.

Thanks for the welcome, Mickee! How exciting a grandbaby! We have 2 grandchildren and they are THE BEST ever! Caleb is 6 and Victoria is 5! They live in Germany right now, but we usually see them twice or 3 times a year because they fly home space A a lot! We haven't seen them since August 27! They were here for almost 3 months this past summer. GOSH, how we miss them!

My son's name is Michael. He is turned 22 on Dec.10, spent birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas at boot camp.
