Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

well they might get another call on Tuesday so hold your head high and get your phone fixed for then. Hopefully they can figure it out. I know someone's phone card ran out when my SR and I were talking so he gave them his. Maybe it was one of you alls boys. Have a great day everyone! I know I will!

 I have been crying my eyes out, I missed my call.  He tried calling my cell phone collect several times but when I would try to accept the call it would not connect. I have been on the phone with AT&T and they don't know why it would not connect?  Did anyone else's call come collect? He had a phone card when he left.  Thanks for sharing they won Captain's cup I am so proud of all of our SR's

I missed his call! AARRRGGHHHH!! I went up to a friends door to pic up something,left my phone in the vqn for just few seconds, and missed him. He got qhold of my 16yr old though so I was better after hearing about their conversation . He said he sounded good but different somehow. SOOO PROUD OF OUR BOYS! GO 806!

I just got a call too!  He sounds sooooo good!!!  What a great way to start the road trip!  See you all soon!  Congrats 806!!!!!

YEAHHHHH MY Son is on the phone with his grandparents now! I didn't get to talk to him yet, he saving me for last so he can get everybody else in! HOOYAH!!!

I just got a call from my SR! ! ! He said the won Capt. Cup and got an hour phone call!! YEAH!! He sounds wonderful, very up-beat! I feel like I've gotten a massive shot of sunshine! I hope everyone gets this treasure!
