You guys are great! Thank you all so much for your support... I know you understand 100%.... when I read his letter I felt like my heart was going to break. They've worked so hard and as Skyler said become so close... I hope ochaos is right and by now he's feeling much better... It is so hard to not be able to talk to him.

I got a letter today too, my son did not mention BS but did say he thought his next phone call would be on the 29th.  Swimmers - so sorry to hear about your son, definitely will be praying for him too.  Skyler - I would love to know how their days are playing out too.

Ma - I was only drinking soda as I was driving.

For PIR - make sure you have your car registration, insurance, gate pass and drivers license.  It seems simple and that you would have it but if you are driving and change purses you may forget your important papers, I confess I drove 13 hours to visit my son in the AF and realized that I had been driving with no license, you have to have one to drive on a base - they are very picky. One of m,y kids at home had to fed-ex it, talk about feeling really dumb - I had changed wallets and thought it was in there.  You can laugh about it - I do know, I am human and screw up occasionally  You maybe asked to show it and you may not.

SwimmerS - do not stress about your son as I am sure that by the time you received the letter he was well on his way to being much better, remember things are usually much better them they were when the letters were written.

Swimmer, so sorry to hear about your son. I'll say a prayer for him. It's so frustrating not being able to talk with them--I can feel your pain!

Swimmer, I will say prayers for your son. Hopefully, God willing, he will be up and back into it very soon!

Hey everyone, just got a brief note from my SR and he's really sick. He said he's already been ordered to bed for a day and then received light duty. He's on 5 different meds. Of course, you know that if he misses certain training events he could get pushed back. He says he's going to try to tough it out, but I'm just so upset for him... please pray. He said he's been on meds since Tuesday, so I guess that's almost a week. Thanks so much...
